Defendant Oscar Coleman was convicted of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 95 1/2, par. 4-103(a)) after a bench trial, and he was sentenced to a term of five years probation with the first six months to be served in the Cook County Jail.
