This suit involves the efforts of plaintiff, Clair Marceaux, to obtain a right of passage for his enclosed estate.

Marceaux is the owner of a 63.64 acre tract of land in Cameron Parish. Jeanne Marceaux Reese, his sister, owns a tract of land located on Marceaux's southern boundary.
