The trial court did not err in refusing to suppress the physical evidence. On this record, the codefendant's consent to the detectives' entrance into the hotel room shared by the codefendant and the appellant was voluntarily given (see People v Gonzalez, 39 N.Y.2d 122, 128-130; People v Phiefer, 43 N.Y.2d 719, 720).
