Defendant, Richard Leon, was charged with criminal trespass to state-owned land. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 21-5.) On December 7, 1977, defendant entered a plea of guilty to that charge, and the court sentenced him to six months in jail. Within 30 days of the entry of judgment, defendant filed a motion to vacate his guilty plea...
