Plaintiff National General Insurance Company (National General) is plaintiff Jeannette R. Brown's automobile liability insurer. National General became a party to this action by way of intervention. Rule 24, M.R.Civ.P. The suit was initiated by Brown against the defendant, Dr. Virgil M. Manchester, in the Superior Court, Androscoggin County, on February 28, 1976.
