On June 3, 1975 Joseph Diaco was sentenced by this court to a term of imprisonment of five years and, on November 14, 1977, after extensive proceedings before this court, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, he commenced service of that sentence. Under the sentence as imposed, and by virtue of 18 U.S.C. § 4205(a), Diaco would not become eligible for parole until one-third of that sentence has...
