The respondent, Bridgkort Racquet Club, Inc. was formed in 1975 to build an indoor athletic facility in Neenah. In August and September, 1975, Bridgkort received loan commitments from several lending institutions including the appellant, University Bank, in order to finance construction. The commitments were in varying amounts totaling $1,050,000, with the defendant Bank agreeing to loan plaintiff $250,000 at 10¼% over 15 years.1<...
