Defendant, Glen Lamare Rankins, was charged with two counts of armed robbery, MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797, one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, MCLA 750.84; MSA 28.279, and first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCLA 750.520b; MSA 28.788(2). He was convicted of all four counts on November 7, 1975. Defendant's motion for a new trial was denied and he appeals as of right.
