The Presidio Bridge Company ("the Company") has owned and operated the only toll bridge spanning the Rio Grande River between Presidio, Texas, and Ojinaga, Mexico, for fifty years. On July 26, 1976, the State Department issued a permit to Presidio County, Texas, allowing the county to construct a second bridge between Presidio and Ojinaga.
