George R. Stringfellow, administrator and principal beneficiary of the estate of Angie V. Rawlins (to the extent of about $415,000 or about 90 percent of the $460,000 estate) sought to have the defendants Gardners (who received about 10 percent of the estate, about $42,000) bear their proportionate share of the inheritance taxes.
