SMITH, Judge.
Defendant, Ronald Howard Peterson, was convicted of the felony theft of a Volkswagen bus. He appeals on the basis that evidence leading to the conviction was obtained as a result of a bogus safety check, and also on grounds that the prosecution's nondisclosure of the existence of an informant justified a mistrial.
