The defendant was charged in an information with the crime of robbery in the first degree, in that he or another participant in the crime displayed or threatened the use of what he represented by his words or conduct to be a firearm, in violation of § 53a-134 (a) (4) of the General Statutes. After a trial, the jury returned a verdict of guilty. From the judgment rendered thereon, the defendant has appealed, assigning error in the charge to the jury...
