This appeal presents the novel issue as to whether it is possible to aid and abet an act which lacks willful intent.

Defendant Gregory Pitts was convicted of reckless discharge of a firearm resulting in death (MCL 752.861; MSA 28.436(21)). He was tried jointly with his brother on the charge of first-degree murder, but the jury returned verdicts of guilty as to both of them on the above offense. Defendant was sentenced to a term of 16 to 24...
