This is a products liability action arising out of the failure of a dam in DeKalb County, Alabama. Plaintiffs contend that the pipe, manufactured by the defendant, Armco Steel Corporation ("Armco"), and used by the plaintiffs in the dam, failed with the result that the dam washed out in February, 1977, for which failure plaintiffs seek compensation from the defendant.
