McCOWN, Justice.

The defendant was found guilty by a jury on one count of an inmate detaining any person for the purpose of compelling or inducing the performance of any act, and one count of use of a dangerous weapon during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to a term of 10 years imprisonment on the first count and 3 years on the second count, the sentences to run consecutively to each other and consecutive to the sentence being served.
