BEATTY, Justice.

The plaintiff appeals from an order granting a new trial or in the alternative a remittitur. We affirm.

The action was based upon a collision between the plaintiff's automobile which was struck from the rear by the defendant's truck. The plaintiff, a resident of Demopolis, alleged negligence on the defendant's part which proximately resulted in personal injuries. Trial ensued, and at the close of the evidence the defendant admitted liability...
