Appellee, Gerald Ives reneged on a real estate agreement to purchase the Kent and Reynolds farms owned by Reed McConnell near El Paso, Arkansas. McConnell's real estate broker, appellant Bob Hopkins, d/b/a Hopkins and Associates Realty, brought this action against appellee to recover his alleged real estate commission in the amount of $22,299.00.
