The issue presented in this case is which of two creditors had a superior lien on a house trailer owned by a debtor. The specific questions raised are (1) whether a creditor, in order to perfect his lien on a trailer, must note the lien on the certificate of title issued for the trailer, even though no certificate of title is required by law; and (2) whether a chattel mortgage filed with a county clerk met the formal requisites of a financing statement...
