The plaintiffs, Paul T. and Cornelia R. Reeves, initiated this action by filing a complaint on 8 March 1973 in which they alleged that the defendants, Donald and Louise Musgrove, had taken possession of a parcel of the plaintiffs' land by building a fence enclosing that parcel.
