This case is before the Court on a petition for writ of habeas corpus challenging a state court conviction. In 1973, while incarcerated in the state prison, petitioner was charged and convicted of the offense of the possession of a weapon by a state prisoner. Petitioner argues that certain rulings of the trial court made during his trial were so fundamentally unfair that he was denied his right to a fair trial...
