Following a bench trial the defendant, Robert G. Mytnik, was convicted of the offense of battery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 12-3(a)), and sentenced to six months in the House of Correction. The defendant contends on appeal that (1) he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, (2) he was unfairly prejudiced by inflammatory and improper remarks of the prosecutor...
