The defendant, Edward Antrim, was convicted of attempt murder and aggravated battery, and sentenced to a term of 4 to 12 years on each count, with the terms to run concurrently. He fired three shots at close range into Daniel Sullivan's back. His defense was that Sullivan and Rex Ridings were engaged in a fight and he shot Sullivan to protect...
