Samuel Gibson and Rafeal Wofford were convicted of unlawfully distributing heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). We have affirmed Wofford's conviction. United States v. Wofford, 562 F.2d 582 (8th Cir.1977). Gibson argues on appeal that the trial court improperly joined for trial both the codefendants and the separate counts of the indictment.
