Defendant contends in his first assignment of error that Archie L. Hargett was not competent to testify as to the contract of insurance between defendant and Northwestern Insurance Company. He argues that the only witnesses competent to testify as to the contractual relationship between defendant and Northwestern are Northwestern or its agent, Strickland Insurance Brokers. His rationale is that Mr. Hargett as broker of the policy had no authority to act...
