The appellants-defendants Kaplan and Seidel were indicted for various substantive violations of the National Firearms Act, § 5801, et seq., 26 U.S.C.,1 as well as unlawful destruction of a vehicle used in interstate transportation. 18 U.S.C. § 844(i).
