This is an appeal by the State from an order entered by the circuit court of Montgomery County dismissing the cause for "want of prosecution." Defendant, Richard Adams, and a co-defendant, Paul Laird, were jointly charged by indictment filed on July 30, 1976, with the commission of official misconduct. Defendant was released on bail and was arraigned on August 5, 1976...
