Appellees were the owners and holders of a vendor's lien note executed by appellant as payor and which was secured by a deed of trust covering a house and lot in Dallas County. Upon default in the payment of the note, the house and lot were sold pursuant to the power of sale contained in the deed of trust. Appellees purchased the property at the sale for the sum of $2,000.00 and then filed this suit against appellant to recover the deficiency...
