Petitioner seeks federal habeas corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. He is presently in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections as the result of two convictions and sentences in the Circuit Court of Mississippi County, Missouri. In 1974, a jury found petitioner guilty of assault with intent to kill and robbery in the first degree. The court sentenced petitioner to twenty five and thirty years...
