After a bench trial, defendant was convicted of rape (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 11-1) and acquitted of armed robbery. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 18-2.) He was sentenced to a term of four years to four years and a day on the rape conviction.
