Plaintiff brought suit to recover for injuries allegedly sustained as a result of an automobile collision. The jury found for defendant and the plaintiff appeals.

The facts as presented at trial are as follows. The accident occurred on that portion of U.S. Route 50 which runs east and west between Salem and Flora, Illinois, where it intersects with a blacktop road running...
