John W. McManus, plaintiff, has appealed a judgment which denied him penalties and attorney's fees against defendants, Travelers Insurance Company and Charter Oak Fire Insurance Company. Charter Oak, a member of the Travelers Group and the real party-defendant at interest, answered the appeal, contending that the judgment awarded McManus recovery for items not covered under the policy.
