On May 27, 1976, the plaintiff was involved in a two-car accident which resulted in the death of Daniel Fritz. Pursuant to a hearing held under the provisions of § 14-111 of the General Statutes, the defendant commissioner of motor vehicles found that the plaintiff had caused or contributed to the death of Daniel Fritz, and ordered that the plaintiff's driver's license be suspended for a period of one year.1 The plaintiff...
