After a jury trial, defendant, Mack Cole, was found guilty of intimidation in violation of section 12-6(a)(1) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 12-6(a)(1)). The circuit court of Peoria County sentenced the defendant to imprisonment for a term of from one to three years.
