In an eight-count indictment filed on October 20, 1976, appellant was charged and later convicted of felony murder (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2401), second-degree murder while armed (D.C.Code 1973), §§ 22-2403, -3202), attempted robbery while armed (D.C.Code 1973, §§ 22-2902, -3202), and assault with intent to rob (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-501) of Thomas L. Daly; armed robbery (D.C.Code 1973, §§ 22-2901, -3202)...
