Appellants Noel Chandler and Robert Granger were the defendants to a four count information1 growing out of the burglary of Picciolo's Restaurant, Miami Beach, Florida, on May 23, 1977. At the time of the filing of the information on July 1, 1977, the two defendants were police officers with the City of Miami Beach Police Department.
