A Detroit Recorder's Court jury convicted the defendant of receiving and concealing stolen property in excess of $100. MCLA 750.535; MSA 28.803. The verdict was returned on July 2, 1976. Defendant was later sentenced to 40 months to 5 years in prison. His motion for a new trial was denied, and he appeals as of right.
