COCHRAN, Justice.

Gerald Gene Floyd was tried by a jury simultaneously upon eleven indictments charging conspiracy to commit grand larceny and eight indictments charging grand larceny. The jury, finding him guilty of seven of the conspiracy charges, and all eight of the grand larceny charges, fixed his punishment at confinement in jail for a total of twelve months and payment of fines in the aggregate amount of $3,000.
