After convictions of carrying a pistol without a license (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3204), appellants Maurice Hamilton and Michael Barnes appealed, citing as error the trial court's denial of their joint motions to dismiss the indictment for want of a speedy trial and for compulsory disclosure of the identity of the government's informant.
