Plaintiff Butcher sued the defendant Garrett-Enumclaw Company, a manufacturer, for breach of express and implied warranties relating to the 1973 sale of its portable sawmill called the "Ecologizer." The Ecologizer was a new and unique concept for a commercial sawmill incorporating log cutting and log handling principles not found in ordinary sawmills.
