Gerald Shanahan, executor of the estate of his mother, Mary Catherine Shanahan, brought a citation proceeding against Mary T. Bowen, granddaughter of the decedent, to recover $12,570 which the estate claimed she owed decedent. The Circuit Court of Will County denied the citation, finding the executor failed to prove by a preponderance of the evidence any indebtedness owing...
