This case comes before this court on defendants-appellants' appeal as of right from a trial court judgment affirming denial by plaintiff's board of zoning appeals of an application to operate a so-called "convenience food" establishment in a structure on property that is the subject of a valid nonconforming use.

The record indicates that in 1945 or 1946 defendant Gromak put a war surplus Quonset hut on the premises and started a farm equipment...
