The plaintiff, then age 15, was injured while operating a meat slicing machine on the premises of her employer the Yankee Doodle Dandy restaurant, a fast-food franchisee, located in Elgin. As material here she sued the defendant franchisor, Yankee Doodle House, Inc., on the theory of negligence and willful and wanton misconduct and sued the defendant, U.S. Slicing Machine...
