The issue presented in this case in whether the Private Security Guard Act of 1968, MCL 338.1051 et seq.; MSA 18.185(1) et seq., imposes vicarious liability upon a security guard agency or its insurer for damages caused by the wrongful act of an agency security guard where the act was not within the scope of the agency's business. We hold that it does not.
