Following a jury trial the defendants, Larry Haynes, James Harris and Rodney West were convicted of the offenses of murder and armed robbery. Each defendant was sentenced to a term of 20 to 40 years in the penitentiary for the murder conviction. They were not sentenced for the armed robbery. The defendants appeal, claiming that a new trial is warranted due to certain prejudicial...
