In two separate cases filed in the Circuit Court of Bureau County, the issue was whether title to $15,000 in government securities which the Farmers and Miners Bank of Ladd held on behalf of Mary Rolando Halm and her nephew Levon Rolando, was in joint tenancy with right of survivorship or in tenancy in common.
