Defendant appeals from his conviction in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas of obstructing justice and raises three assignments of error, as follows:

"The trial court erred in overruling defendant's motions for acquittal at the close of the State's case and at the end of all the evidence, for the reason that the defendant's mere denial of the whereabouts of a suspect, in light of all the evidence, cannot constitute the offense of obstructing...
