Plaintiffs, Kenneth R. Riddle, and his wife, Anna Soileau Riddle, filed this suit to recover damages resulting from an automobile accident which occurred around 1:00 p. m. on June 12, 1975, in Opelousas, Louisiana. There was a collision at the intersection of Court and Franklin Streets between a Camaro automobile driven by Sandra Joubert Menard and a Pontiac station wagon driven by Mrs. Riddle.
