Plaintiffs, trustees under the will of Annie Burges Pomeroy, deceased, are asking a writ of mandamus directing defendants, the Town of Westlake, its Mayor and Board of Aldermen, to reclassify a six-acre tract of land from R-2, single family residential, to I-1, light industrial. The property lies just north of the I-10 Calcasieu River bridge and is approximately 500 feet square. It is bounded on the north by the Kansas City Southern railroad tracks...
