The State charged Willie Dilworth with theft of an iron fence valued at $300 and receiving stolen goods, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:67 and 69. After trial, the jury found defendant guilty of theft of property valued at $200. The State thereafter charged the defendant as a multiple offender, a violation of LSA-R.S. 15:529.1.
