COVINGTON, Judge.

Plaintiff, Laure Cazes Ulmer, individually as surviving spouse of George W. Ulmer, Jr., and as provisional tutrix of her minor child, Kristen Lise Ulmer, brought this wrongful death action to recover damages for loss of support, loss of society and mental anguish. The suit was instituted against Baton Rouge General Hospital and its insurer, Argonaut-Southwest Insurance Company.
